Nevena Gligic

Nevena is a PhD student in Statistics in the Department of Statistics and Data Science. Her research interests focus on solving real-world problems, in areas such as finance, using advanced machine and statistical learning as well as Bayesian modeling methods.
Outside of research, Nevena enjoys staying active through sports like volleyball, tennis, swimming, running, and working out at the gym. She also has a passion for cooking and baking.

Walter Wang

Jialu (Walter) Wang is a PhD student at Department of Statistics and Data Science. He is interested in developing principled and scalable approaches at the intersection of machine learning, probabilistic modeling, and statistics to study complex, high-dimensional systems. His vision is to advance generative AI and Bayesian methods as both theoretical frameworks and practical tools for accelerating scientific discovery.Outside of research, Walter enjoys playing basketball, working out at the gym, and spending time at live music events. He is also a fan of board games and video games.

Tu-Quyen Dao

Tu-Quyen Dao is a third year undergraduate student majoring in Biochemistry. Her research interests lie in biostatistics and clinical research. ​Tu-Quyen is currently leading the TAME Pain and Trust Prism projects in D3 lab.

Vineet Burugu  

Vineet is a first-year undergraduate student majoring in Statistics and Data Science. His interests include machine learning, AI, and data analytics, with a focus on applying these technologies to solve real-world problems. Outside of research, Vineet enjoys spending time with his family/friends, biking, and reading comics.
